The Top 5 Hottest Girls of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney By: PoisonRamune, the Apathetic Lizardman During the last 7 years Capcom has been releasing games for a very well made, yet very “cult” interactive novel/point and click adventure series. This franchise is called the Ace Attorney series (or better known as Phoenix Wright in the States). In the Ace Attorney (I’ll use Phoenix Wright and Ace Attorney interchangeably from here on) series you play as a rookie defense attorney, Phoenix Wright. Like any lawyer, it’s your job to use testimony and submitted evidence in order to find holes/contradictions in witness accounts and the case. You also have periods of adventure game exploring and interacting with crime scenes as part of an investigation process. The fact that you have to do some detective style footwork also keeps it from ultimately failing as some legal beagle borefest. Despite being well made the game suffers the fatal flaw of all adventure games. It's not a matter of if you can beat the game, it's more of when you'll get the patience to try everything to beat the game. The charm of Phoenix Wright is not in the actual gameplay, but in the quirkiness of the: criminal situations, characters and humor. The characters range from: a bumbling “beat” cop (who seemingly acts very Japanese), a washed up old actor, a crazy 10 year old obsessed with Power Ranger styled television shows, and a sadistic perfectionist of a prosecutor (who would be held in contempt of court if this were set in the real world) just to name a few. Most of these male characters are designed to seem somewhat lecherous and/or slovenly. This leads me to believe that this game caters to the “moe” (fetish for a cartoon/video game character) side of gamers, as the girls in contrast are all very cute and downright hot, sometimes in an illegal (under-aged) way. Oddly enough even with the fanbase I've yet to find a commentary on the female characters in this game. So without further ado, I shall fill this void in the internet with a list of the 5 hottest girls in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (the first game only).
5) Dee Vasquez: The producer of the “Steel Samurai” (a show in the same light as Power Rangers) and witness in case 3 of the game. She somewhat plays into my affinity to latinas even though she's drawn with subtle asian/typical manga style features. Plus, she also smokes out of a traditional Japanese pipe, which in itself is pretty pimp.
4) Mia Fey: Phoenix Wright's mentor and boss. I love her classic black suit attire, since it's slutty in a very classy sort of way. But the best sprite of Mia is in case 2 & 3 when… (Spoilers Highlight to View) Get Bonus
3) Angel Starr: The infamous “Cough-Up Queen,” the lunch lady at the prosecution office and quite a well connected girl as you'll find later. It's no wonder most of her testimony and information in case 5 comes from her numerous boyfriends. Though only a few people have agreed with me, I still kinda think she was modeled to be Korean.
2) Maya Fey: Phoenix Wright's partner and younger sister to Mia. Despite the fact that she's not as endowed as her sister, she still carries a sort of naïve charm in the game that makes her cute in a stupid way. Also the stills displayed of her in the later cases are way prettier than Mia.
1) Ema Skye: A scientific investigator in training and sister to the defendant in the case 5. Ema takes the role of Phoenix’s partner and what an improvement over Maya she proves to be. From her dorky pink glasses that are semi-Elton Johnesque to her child like enthusiasm, Ema is the prime example of Japanese male fan-service. But her true essence of hotness comes from the fact that she's 16 and that she's drawn much like Megaman (who I think is cute, in a nongay way).
Yeah, there's one more girl in this game who's kinda hot, but not very attractive in design.
Penny Nichols: The assistant and stage prep at the studio in case 3. She's not very cute in terms of design, but the fact that she's somewhat of a fangirl for the “Steel Samurai” makes her kinda hot in her own way. There we go, the top 5 hottest girls in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney at the expense of me now sounding gay and like a pedophile. The images used in this article are property of Capcom Co.
